If you haven’t tried quinoa for breakfast yet, it’s time to start with this Quinoa Breakfast Bowl with apples and almond butter. Topping it with creamy almond butter, crisp apples and vegan chocolate chips make it so delicious. You can vary the toppings, and even make your quinoa ahead of time (or just use leftovers from dinner!) for an even quicker morning routine.
Serves 2
Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked GoGo Quinoa tricolor quinoa
- 1/4 cup coconut milk or almond
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1 apple sliced
- 1 tbsp vegan chocolate chips, I used Enjoy Life
- 1 tsp GoGo Quinoa chia seeds
- 2 tbsp flaked coconut
Instructions
- Add 1 cup of cooked quinoa in a bowl and microwave it for 30 seconds to warm it up.
- Add coconut milk, along with your chia seeds, to reach your desired consistency.
- Top with your favourite nuts, fruits, compotes, and seeds, and enjoy.
