Protein Pasta with Mushroom Sauce


  • 1 package of Protein Penne
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 package of sliced cremini mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup white wine (for deglazing)
  • 1 1/2 cups cream
  • 1/2 cup pasta cooking water
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup freshly chopped basil
  • 1/4 cup freshly chopped parsley


  1. Cook the pasta according to the instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, sauté the garlic, onion, and mushrooms in oil. Deglaze with the white wine. Add the cream and pasta cooking water, then let it reduce by half. Add the herbs. Reheat and adjust the seasoning. Add the parmesan cheese to the sauce just before serving and mix until it's homogeneous. Serve and garnish with basil. Enjoy!
